Classic radio removal keys (also called release tools or extraction keys).

Designed specifically for removing factory/OEM head units (radios) from the dashboard in many Mercedes models, as well as compatible systems in same Audi, VW, Porsche, and some Becker-equipped vehicles. Shift Linkage Gauge

(also known as VW tool #3104 or shift gate alignment gauge)

specialty tool designed for aligning and adjusting the manual shift linkage on certain Volkswagen and Audi vehicles equipped with the 020 (and some related) 5-speed manual transmissions. This tool holds the gear shift lever in the precise neutral position at the base, allowing easy and accurate realignment of the shift linkage (shift rod/clamp). This ensures smooth gear engagement after repairs, bushing replacements, or linkage adjustments. The procedure typically involves loosening the shift rod clamp, inserting the tool to lock the shifter, tightening the clamp to spec (often 26 Nm / 19 ft-lb), and then removing the tool.

Hood Lift Support Failure Symptoms

The hood may feel heavier or fail to stay open as high as before due to a gas leak in the lift support
Grease or oil leaking from the existing shocks
Seeping noise or creaks coming from the shocks when lifting the hood or trunk
Hood or trunk fails to stay open when raised

This set helps raise the hood higher on certain BMW models for better and safer access during engine bay service, especially when standard gas struts or props don't provide enough clearance.

Some manuals describe this procedure as "mounting and dismounting" the alternator pulley or V-belt at the alternator/for Mercedes for removal and replacement of free-wheel drive pulleys on 1998 & up Benz, including 606 (210), 648 (211, 164), 642 (211, 164) Mercedes E300 1996 -1999. The long tool is a Torx T50 and and is 3/8 drive and 4 inch overall length used to hold the alternator shaft when replacing the belts the area between the alternator and car body is very limited. You will get both tools with this purchase.
