Component Breakdown

Slide Hammer & Shaft: Used to provide the "impact" force needed to pop a stuck or carbon-caked injector out of the cylinder head without prying, which can damage the injector body.

Open-End Adapter (The black "fork" piece): This slides onto the injector body. The slide hammer shaft then threads into this adapter (using an M8 x 1.25 thread).

Tapered Cone (Brass/Gold piece): Used to expand the new Teflon (PTFE) seal as you slide it onto the tip of the injector.
